Zubiri: All’s Well

Turns out the announcement was a press conference by administration congressmen led by Miguel Zubiri, they reported all’s well in their districts, no one is upset, everyone should calm down. Zubiri, according to ANC, intimated that there may have been a conspiracy stretching back a month, pointing to Ricky Carandang floating information about cabinet restlessness in the news. A comment from a fellow blogger: “That’s because they don’t read. PCIJ and other blogs were floating that long before Carandang did.”

Apparently the Palace wanted to keep media in suspense.

Tatad of the opposition as well as Tito Sotto say the opposition have decided to ask the President and Vice-President to resign; they reiterate their position that impeachment aren’t options as neither the President or Vice-President were duly-elected.

  1. “Tatad of the opposition as well as Tito Sotto say the opposition have decided to ask the President and Vice-President to resign; they reiterate their position that impeachment aren’t options as neither the President or Vice-President were duly-elected.”

tatad, sotto…are these people still worth listening? i thought noise and clanging sounds are just pollutants not worth recognizing, lest you want to be insane…

  2. i agree entirely, mr dops, on your opinion about tatad and sotto, they are twins of craps. Everytime they open their mouth on this issue the more things are trivialized. Given this kind of personalities no one can blame the quite majority if they just accept the present leadership and forgive and forget whatever wrong she had done.

  3. one thing that i’ve noticed, is that the major, i mean really major players of this episode are dyed-in-the-wool politicians. no wannabes allowed, in fact wannabes will be swallowed up and spit out in this kind of an exercise. perhaps something good might come out of it after all. do i sense political maturity, despite the seeming inconsistencies? even regular folk have been rather discerning in their reactions. interesting angle.

  4. bimbo- this is the sense i get from talking to people; they haven’t found anyone worth risking their necks for, or over.

  5. So, Tatad and Tito Sotto said GMA and Noli were not duly elected – and we should believe them cause they said so? Duh…

Everything wrong GMA has perceived to have done is, at this point in this whole mess, just that – perceived. Let’s prove it first. How can we allow “chismis” that got out of hand to destroy our country’s stability? That is what is at stake here.

Listening to Tatad and Sotto…is like making life changing decisions based on a Quiapo manghuhula’s say.
