“The youth are going to matter.” Last month, Comelec reported that 52% of the total registered voters for the upcoming 2022 Elections are comprised by the youth. This means that more than ever, the youth vote is going to matter significantly in the outcome of the presidential race. To help understand and appreciate the impact of the youth vote, Fr. Tito Caluag talks to three insightful academics and writers for this episode of Kapamilya Journeys of Hope.

About the guests: Manolo Quezon is the grandson of President Manuel Quezon and is a prominent Filipino writer and television host, and formerly the Undersecretary of the Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Office. Carlo Santiago is a writer, entrepreneur, and a member of the Anastasio Institute, a non-profit organization devoted to the understanding and appreciation of the Filipino experience through storytelling. Dr. Leloy Claudio is a cultural historian, multi-awarded author, and professor at the Department of South & Southeast Asian Studies at UC Berkeley.
