Good blog-reading day

Under the Talisay Tree: has a very interesting entry on gerrymandering in Cebu. In the news, there’s 1948 law says it’s Ozamiz, not Ozamis – which is odd. The reference of first resort to anyone looking up a law passed before 1972 is the Official Gazette, a marvelous reference for laws, supreme court decisions, and executive issuances. They could also have consulted Cornejo’s mammoth Commonwealth Encyclopedia, which would have settled the issue, too.
