@ramrod, I’m referring to the Failure of elections scenario and “the grand plan” of GMA. Where’s the proof? Assuming there is one grand plan… but was an unbiased fact-checking done by the media? Have we isolated which sources were tainted and which ones are not? It’s not impossible to leak certain information to divert attention…so is this even the real story?

I would like to understand but I still can’t connect the dots… In the same way as Noynoy doesn’t have any invested interests in SCtex, or Villar and SM and C5 or Bayani and his son’s construction company… or Roxas and Cubao, and the Osmenas of Cebu, NTC people…and certain moves in the utilities sector by taipans – one can see plausible relationships but I need objective proof.

Its pretty obvious, if we believe Villar is innocent, we might as well believe James Yap is faithful…
…just look beyond the bullshit and follow the money trail…

It all still sounds muddy and speculative to me. I’m still not convinced that there is a grand plan. It seems to be the easiest thing to assume, and surely it’s very possible, but without actual implicating evidence or statements of sorts, I can’t connect the dots, frankly.

I caught Winnie Monsod’s dissection of Sen. Enrile’s majority report on TV. If that is accurate (including the links that I just read upon the suggestion of webkid2010), Sen. Villar may be in deep trouble. Even if he is elected President, these will continue to haunt him after six years. So, it is best that he steps forward now…to clear the air…for mother Philippines…

Noynoy is a dynastic candidate; if he were not an Aquino he would not have been elected congressman of Tarlac.
But the same applies to Roxas, Teodoro, Gordon, Fernando, and to some degree Villar (he married a congressman’s daughter)

Erap, Bro. Eddie and Monzano are candidates only because of being actors/celebs having nothing to do with government.

Noynoy is NOT inheriting the presidency. He put his name forward for an ELECTION. He could still lose.

Quite different from Bhenazir Bhutto’s son Bilawal (via proxy dad) getting his country’s highest post on a silver platter.

Look, there are 8 contestants to choose from. Not 9, not 50 million, why 49,999,990 did not put themselves up for election is anybody’s guess. Of the 8, who looks better – Noynoy, Villar, or Erap? (The rest are not polling high enough, so pragmatically, why reduce the chances of the best of the top 3 getting a clear win to account for any shenanigans during the count. It’s goin to be Le Pen all over again.)

Besides, if one is going to argue using Genetics, what’s wrong with hedging your bets on the one who came from a better gene pool? Good genes, generally produce good offspring. It’s science.

Danding Cojuangco may be the Philippine’s version of “The Godfather” (although many others would want to vie for that dubious honor as well), but no one doubts him to be a shrewd judge of character. Charlie Cojuangco only parrots his father, and that putdown of Noynoy and “Kamag-Anak Inc.” sure hits the bulls-eye. Not to mention the others around Noynoy, just too hungry to get back into power and dig their hands into the spoils.

Not that the others are any better. But Noynoy is just more of the same.
