That would enlighten many on the root of the problems facing the country. Just look at the men who would like to be President. Erap, Villar, Ebdane, Noynoy, Chiz, Gordon. Societal development is dependent on the state/stage of economic development. The almost total absence of accountability of both markets and government in this country is the effect of the type of economic policies the country employs. It is always the economy stupid! I wish there was someone who could duplicate MLQ3 ‘s gift for political history and write on the economic/financial history of the Philippines.
