Do you even see the 2010 elections happening? Everyday an assault on the spirit of the Filipino people -- vile criminals like Manero, Teehankee, Jr. and Manalili released in our midst, Jun Lozada arrested to test the strength of civil society opposition, plans for disenfranchising millions of voters.

An alleged assassination plot -- come on, do we ever assassinate our leaders?

Yup, it's 1971 all over again, but worse.

George Washington resigned his commission before he took another public service. Such exemplary behavior and dedication defined the great American government today as democracy rather than dictatorship. The rule never changed with the primacy of public opinion.

In sharp contrast, Philippine constitution have changed several times. Thanks but no thanks to ambitious Filipino leaders who keep changing the rules to extend their hold of political power and the size of their personal fortune. For them, the Filipinos don't deserve any better.

How about Labor Day...a good day to start one, Carl?

6,000 gov't. troops preparing for the event when nary a news about militants preparing any rally for that day.

Something is cooking?

At this point and time it is not about cha-cha. It is clearly about creating a pre-text for brazen acts that could lead to interesting scenarios.

Will they or won't they?
