It is timely and relevant in today's political nightmare where interest groups, hiding behind the army's "Big Guns", are calling the shot. We need more thinkers like you who can see the writings on the wall. Many self-described intellectuals don't see anything on the wall. They blog about how to select good leaders,how to organize groups,how to empower the youth, how to effect change in the election and etc., and the list goes ooonn.All these talks are irrelevant unless we can correct the problem that is within the military.These "Thinkers" continue to live in "Never, Never Land" like what Michael Jackson had. It embarrasses me no end when I read their blogs, partly because they are mostly tired rhetoric, political template speeches, and bumper sticker slogans of the past. Sometimes,I am embarrassed to be a Filipino but I love this country so much that I am an eternal optimist to hope that people like you would continue to write relevant blogs to build the bridge to the center thus to bring the "Thinkers" back. Without it, the other 2 G's, Guns and Goons, are not possible. We can therefore simply say that our election is determined by whoever has the most gold. This is true everywhere. The recent election of Obama proves this, he that out fund-raised and out spent his opponent, McCain, by 2 to 1. Speaking of the infamous 3 G’s, the gold is the most important. Without it, the other 2 G’s, Guns and Goons, are not possible.
We can therefore simply say that our election is determined by whoever has the most gold.
