Thanks for pointing out Howard Goodall’s piece, as it led me to read more of his addresses.

I think Goodall’s genius is in indeed making older forms of music meaningful to contemporary audiences. A good example, of course, is his four-part harmony in the theme of the show Mr. Bean, sung entirely in Latin by a choir of men and boys.

Well, with all due respect, at least we know who MLQ3 is, both in terms of his being a public figure and in terms of him participating in local blogosphere events — appearing in person and mingling with us.

That’s a point in favor of him, as far as “fair games” go.

No hard feelings, dude. Ika nga, as a “noted blogger” you’re quite a big target, kind of like how moi, being perceived by many to be an arrogant bastard, is fair game and invites closer and often scornful scrutiny.

LOL, gotcha bencard. of course not with you. i have a better idea of who you are, respect is what I have. you have gained it . yeah i get too serious once in a while then i get embarassed after commenting.. it’s tough when i cannot delete my mistake..oh well. life ‘s too short.
