Looks like a good (but depressing?) book to read. I’ve read Solzhentsyn’s “Gulag Archipelago” and on a more local note, “To Suffer thy Comrade” and I found the two really depressing.
karlo, not really, some inspiring stories, too. but then, it’s also good to understand how oppression is engineered. i’m a fan of the author who regularly contributes to slate magazine online.
