I like the idea Vic, we need to consolidate and streamline many things here because we just have so many little of everythings.

Seriously speaking, we Filipoinos forget the laos after their time ;that we need a sort of lifetime achievement award.

If we could do that to the laos na once upon a time sumikat…. pano pa kaya natin papansinin ang mga low key achievers.

Anna, maybe if the first awardee is the President herself, for her achievements in Economics, Political, and of course Religion (hadn’t she proclaims herself as “choosen one” to lead the country) all rolled into one, but I would not include Arts because she has nothing of it, then she could start working diligently towards earning the Awards. hehehe the satirical part of me..

I would like to see the highest award given for lifetime achievement of deserving citizen be titled “Order of the Philippines”.
The award should recognized achievements in all field, from science, to politics, to humanity, to arts and even religion. Just like the Order of Canada, Order of the British Empire, Order of Australia and some that has the country named on it. Of course for each award citation should be noted for which field it is given. Like the nobel prize. Do I make sense here?

The structure that houses the national research institute across DOST is in a very sorry state. Our scientists are marginalized, “kahabaghabag”.
