Luis “Chavit” Singson says he has recordings showing former president Joseph Estrada talked to a certain former general Nazareno (not Garcillano as I first heard). This echoes, but it is still different from, scuttlebutt from some time back, that the former president and his son, Jinggoy Estrada, were part of the “Hello Garci” tapes (or similar tapes).
Update: The best that former Rep. Dinangalen can do is say this is another Chavit dirty trick, and that being detained, how could Estrada make phone calls? How, indeed, considering the way Estrada manages to talk to media all the time.
Chavit says the recording proves Fernando Poe, Jr. really lost in Mindanao; and that Estrada wanted President Arroyo assassinated and then to set up a transition government to pave the way to Estrada’s return to power. He further claims the recording is part of the “mother tape” from which the “Hello, Garci” conversations were taken (although Singson says that’s just his personal theory); the recording, apparently, just anonymously appeared yesterday.

If Malacanang wants GMA to appear the ‘underdog’ so that they could win again the sympathy of the people, getting Singson to do it is a very bad idea!

This is turning out to be better than the fantaseryes we see on TV. May action, may mystery, at higit sa lahat ang daming MAGIC at COMEDY. My guess is, the spin doctors are giving the public an overdose of melodrama hoping that we will all get confused, angry, frustrated, depserate, helpless and just succumb to apathy. I do hope we see through all these muddle and hold steadfast in seeking truth and justice.
My greatest fear is if both government and opposition persist in this moro-moro, the public will have no alternative other than to swing extreme right or extreme left. Either way it can damn be bloody from where I’m standing.

Chavit’s snippent of Erap’s alleged plot to liquidate Pandak and /or Tanda sound exactly like Bunye’s “original and unedited” Ruado CD. Parang may ipinatong na boses sa original na kausap ni Erap, gaya ng ginawa nila Bunye sa boses ni Garci by making Ruado put his voice in the “original” tapes.
