Hoorah for Sanlakas

I’m listening to DZRH on AM while watching ANC and Channel 4 on TV as the joint session of Congress begins….

I never thought I’d say hoorah for Sanlakas, but their representative had a point. All stations should be compelled to broadcast the proceedings, and set aside scheduled programming. Since all TV and radio media have congressional franchises, they can be compelled to institute programming in the public interest.

  1. what’s wrong with sanlakas? it is highly unlikely if he’s with the bayan lot. lean alejandro would have spun in his grave.

i believe it’s what we call fair and just freedom of the press. tv stations should give way to such important event in philippine history rather than air reality-based shows which traumatize the young who join and dream of making it big in showbiz.

it doesn’t matter with whom you are affiliated with. as long as you try to be progressive in your views that is okay. it helps a lot.

hell, you don’t have to be one of them.
